Dear All

We've had a fabulous month of game viewing - look at the list below, and this has just been in the last two weeks:

Lion – multiple sightings including cubs; we sat and watched the cubs playing early one morning, amazing pictures especially as the light was so beautiful.

Wild Dog – 2 separate packs with one of 10 dogs, and one of 14 dogs. Everyone always says you can  see Wild Dog in the Selous, but I didn't expect to see two sightings so close together.

Leopard – not far from camp, we hear him sometimes at night too.

Hippo – calving time, and there are so many babies. You can actually easily see them from the mess.

Elephant – many family groups by the Rufiji, coming down to drink, and on the banks of the lakes.

Rhino – 3 seen near Beho Beho – mother, baby and young male. This has been our absolute viewing higlight so far.

Goliath heron – seen right in front of mess

Eagle owls – two of them, mating close to camp

Look forward to seeing you all out here, Cheers Steve & Lynn
